What did the clients like about my pitch / project ideas?
Questions asked by the clients at the end of the pitch in terms of developing the pitch / project ideas:
Analysis of feedback:
After everything mentioned by the client, I received very positive feedback from my clients watching the pitch presentation. The clients watching this asked me some question and wrote some improvements on the product I have planned. These have helped me to improve my so that I can create a more perfect pitch and a better developed planned application idea.
The first question I was asked was "Why would the point system entice the users to keep using the application". I responded to this question by telling the clients that the point system will help to show other users your social presence and how much time you have devoted to the use of this application. The client suggested that there needs to be more a reward when collecting this score. So I decided that the users could spend their points to see exclusive content such as interviews, behind the scenes and other visual content exclusive to them. Having this will entice the audience to keep generating a higher score and keep using the application.
The second piece of feedback I received from my client watching the pitch / presentation was; "Who uploads the photos to the platform". My response to this was that both users and professional content creators can upload to this application. This means that there will be a large mixture of content being uploaded to the application and users will get an experience which is of both professional created continent and user created content. Having this will ensure that the user can see the sponsored content and promoters can share their products throughout the application. And that the users can see what their friends are posting on the site to ensure that everything is created with the user's needs and requirements in mind.
The third piece of feedback which I received from the clients watching my pitch / presentation was; "Would the users have to pay to see music videos". The answer to this is both yes and no. All music videos will be available for the users to watch straight from the platform's music video section. Also other users will be able to share music videos with friends so they can also see the music videos. However, exclusive music videos and exclusive music video related content can be watched by either spending real money or spending the users earned points. This will ensure that the users want to see exclusive content and find out information before their friends do. Having this feature will also ensure that the company will make money as people will be spending money to see these features.
The final piece of feedback I received from the clients who were watching my pitch / presentation was; "Which celebrities will I use as influencers for this application?" I decided that I will use a wide range of celebrities to use and promote this product. They will have to have a convergence of both music and fashion so allow the app to show its usages. Some exemplary celebrities I could use would be people like Kanye West, Harry Styles, A$AP Rocky, etc. Having these influencers will bring their audience's to the application and also ensure that a wider audience reach is achieved. Kanye West would be a key example as he works with both Fashion and Music. A way to truly show of this application's capabilities would be to upload a music video with Kanye West in it. People in the music video could be wearing his clothing brand (YEEZY is Kanye's brand) and then users can interact with the video to find clothes. Users can look into the videos and if they see an item of clothing they like, they can hold down on that item in the video and buy that item of clothing directly through the application. This will demonstrate all the capabilities of this application and ensure the users can understand what type of experience to expect when they use the application.
Overall, all the feedback I received form the clients watching my pitch / presentation would definitely not impact the feasibility of my application idea. The ideas they suggested will further enhance my application, this is because what was said has helped me to see what can be done to improve the application and ensure that users are enticed to use it and want to continue to use it over time. I received information on how to entice the audience, how to gain more money from the application and make money from the users and I learnt how to use celebrity influence to ensure that users want to use the application.
After reviewing this feedback, I believe that the proposal I create is defiantly still viable, however there will be some features which I mentioned above which will need to be added to the proposal so a commissioning client will get a deeper understanding on how I want the application to run and what I need to include to ensure that the audience enjoy the application, they keep wanting to use it, and to ensure that we makes much money as possible from the application.
How I will further develop my proposal in line with the feedback and viability considerations:
I will need to develop my pre-existing proposal so that what I create is relating to the feedback I received and the viability considerations I will have to add more information on how the application will make money from its users. This is so the clients have a clear vision on whether this application will make them money or not. I will also update and include on what the attraction will be to the audience and why they will keep on wanting to use the application, doing this will ensure the clients that the planned product will have an audience which use the application and everyone wants to keep on using this app. The final thing I will add to the proposal will be to include information on the celebrity influence which will be found on this application. This will ensure that the users will find the application and continue to want to use the app and find the celebs and become part of the community.
Adding all of this to the Proposal will ensure that the proposal is as best as it can be and the client will be ensured that they are receiving the best product possible.
