Juice 107.2 Programme: Adam Turner - Turned On
Structure:
Purpose: The purpose of 'Adam Turner - Turned On' is to entertain the audience by providing them with House/Techno/Trance music. He does this by remixing popular artist (such as Olly Murs and Paloma Faith) and creating a new genre of music with their pre-existing songs. Another reason for the show is to show the capabilities of Adam Turner was he remixes the songs together live, and he changes the way the sound making them interesting for the audience. Income: The income for this program is funded by advertisements thought-out the shows Live Broadcast and the rest of the stations advertisement revenue they gain via other shows. Scheduling: The programme is scheduled at 01.00 on Sundays and the show last for one hour, this means that the show is broadcasted late at night as the audience will be in their late teens and early twenties, which means they would typically be awake at this time. Content: The content for the show is very music based, and it has very little talking/discussion. There are a few advertisements which split the show up and the show uses other broadcasting techniques such as stabs and intros. There are some short breaks between the mixes with discussion and talk with the audience, as this show allows the audience to message Adam (the presenter) and talk about the show. There are no forms of news updates, or topical discussion, just talk about the music and the show. The show follows many conventions of a radio broadcasted show as the show includes content such as Jingles, Stabs, Stings, Idents, Intro's and Outro's. |

The audience demographic for this show would be quite young, this is because the music genre is typically associated with people of that age. Delivery of the programme:
Personel:
There is only one person who speaks on the show, which is the presenter Adam Turner. Adam Turner is a London based DJ, who broadcasts his show (Turned Up) to different radio stations around the country. There aren't any other talkers on the show, however, sometimes he allows the audience to do call in where they can interact with him and talk about the show.
Style:
The style for the show is quite informal, as there isn't any in-depth discussion and when there is talk, it's just the presenter talking about the show and it's very brief. This is obviously aimed at a younger target audience, as they would typically prefer less discussion and more music. The presenter sometimes uses slang and youth language to talk to the audience, which confirms this informal style. Sometimes, Adam will introduce the song he is mixing, and talk about the original and what is different about his version.
